Olive, a twelve-year-old girl, lives with her little sister and her two parents, who are often away. While waiting for them to return after school, the two sisters check off the list of chores on their new high-tech fridge. All the while, she tells us about her eco-friendly lifestyle and the famous “Green Home” certification that she and her family are working to obtain. Despite this idyllic setting, a slight unease gradually sets in. And as night falls, the beautiful and magical phenomenon that Olive so desperately wants to share with us is finally revealed to us all.

Animation stand
A whole part of the film was made in animation stand mixing cut paper and recycled materials. They are there to illustrate a part of Olive’s speech and present all the administrative complexities that she and her family face.
